These last few weeks writing promotions for The White Rose, I have found myself doing a few things repeatedly… There are probably MORE of these (and feel free to suggest them), but for now, these are all I can think of!
My Writing Rules for Comicbook Promotion
1 Speak only in exclamation points! Why?!? Because it’s EXCITING!!!
2 CAPITALIZE seemingly RANDOM words in YOUR sentences… for EMPHASIS!!!
3 Use the elipsis… just… use it…
Friday was a big day! The White Rose moved up to 7th place in Small Press Idol! We came in fighting and it’s paying off as we continue our assault on the Top 5! Today we are poised to move even higher!
I say ‘we’, even though I am a one man band, because it’s due to YOUR votes and I consider you part of my team. That… and I find myself referring to The White Rose as if she were real… which maybe I should be worried about…
