**** Idol R4 Monday Report ****

Well, despite my best efforts to shoot this round repeatedly in the foot…we managed to fix the last problem with the distro - the one where when I re-did things due to the URL system change - I didn’t turn on the international shipping options so no one outside the USA could order. So! we’re really full strength now, and you’ll see the impact on the standings.

Faction once again frog-hops White rose, in their continuing dance for #1. However, The Underground bounds into things with some strong sales…and the game is really on now…not sure when Varsity Squad will join the fun, but we have plenty of time left, and the rumblings are being felt. to wit:

Hi Everyone - I just wanted to clarify something that I and others were confused about regarding payment methods.

If you would like to purchase a printed copy ($3.50) or PDF version ($2) of White Rose #0, you DO NOT need a PayPal account.

When you select payment method, select PayPal and on the page it redirects you to, fill out your information on the left hand side with address and credit card information and select that you do not want to sign up for an account. PayPal is merely the way the distributor gets credit card and/or PayPal payments.

Hey White Rose fans!

Well it was quite a ride to get to Round 4 and the ride to issue zero was just as exciting!

After a total script rewrite, tossing my Round 3 pages out the window, getting a new colorist/toner(Keith Murphey), revamping the cover, a last-minute ink-spill and the mad dash of penciling/inking/coloring/lettering to get to the finish line — and I hope today is more relaxing, because yesterday I backed into a parked car - well an illegally parked car, but still (and yes I left a note with my insurance info and phone #)

But besides that, I am very happy and excited that White Rose #0 is finally up for sale and going to be in print!

I’m also excited to be allowed back on the computer… My fiancee Erica has been keeping me chained to my drawing board and away from the PC for the last six weeks so I could get the book done. I’ve only recently been released and I am re-learning how to speak to humans and eat using utensils instead of my hands.

If you’d like to help me WIN Round 4, I need to entice you to buy a copy of the zero-issue! It’s available in 2 forms: as a PDF download for 2 bucks and as a regular printed comic for 3.50 plus shipping.

Now it’s on to Round 4!

For Round 4, I have until July 15th to turn in the completed pages of a 12-page story, along with the color cover. Then my book and the other 3 will be printed, distributed and sold. Whoever sells the most wins!

I’ll be in touch later in the month with details on how to order a copy once The White Rose Issue #0 is printed. I don’t know how that works myself yet…
